This Privacy Policy explains how Glanced ("we," "us," or "our") handles information in connection with WaveScout, a creator-led growth intelligence workflow for startups and products. WaveScout helps users analyze product positioning, authorized TikTok account content, creator-fit signals, trend waves, and human-reviewed outreach recommendations. This policy describes what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

2. Information We Collect

• User-provided information. Information you choose to give us, such as product descriptions, URLs, notes, and content you import or upload to inform your analysis.
• Account connection information. Details needed to connect accounts or third-party services you choose to authorize.
• TikTok data (only if authorized). If you connect a TikTok account, we may access basic profile information and metadata for videos owned by the authorized account. We only access this data within the scopes you approve.
• Usage and technical information. Basic technical information needed to operate the service, such as information your browser or device sends when you use the app.

3. TikTok Data

If TikTok API access is enabled, we request only approved scopes — for example, basic profile information and metadata for videos owned by the authorized account. We use authorized access only, where you connect an account. Specifically, WaveScout:

• Does not scrape TikTok.
• Does not use browser automation to extract TikTok content.
• Does not send TikTok direct messages (DMs).
• Does not publish TikTok content.

4. How We Use Information

We use the information you provide and any authorized data to operate and improve the service, including to:

• Generate product intelligence briefs.
• Build trend maps and identify trend waves.
• Develop creator search strategies and creator-fit signals.
• Provide analysis of an owned, authorized account.
• Produce human-reviewed creator packets and draft outreach recommendations.
• Maintain, secure, and improve the workflow.

5. How We Share Information

• We do not sell personal data.
• We do not share personal data with advertisers.
• We may use limited service providers as needed to operate the service (for example, infrastructure or processing), under terms intended to protect the information.
• We connect to third-party APIs only when you authorize them.

6. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service and for legitimate operational purposes, and then delete or anonymize it. You can request deletion at any time as described below.
